Giegue's Home and Youth
The origns of Giegue and his people were always vague and never outright stated. Or even what it was like for Giegue growing up. Many theories and ideas float around, trying to explain or explain knowledge of his kind. This is just another one of those ideas.
I have perceived the Gieguens as a race that waited, they waited for their 'hero' to lead an attack across the universe. Giegue was that chosen warrior. Maybe one point in time they might of had a planet, a small and under populated one, but after some time a vast majority of their warriors moved to some space station which was to be used in battle and training. The station had connection with the planet for a while before it was lost all together, assuming because the planet was destroyed.
On the station many of the Gieguens were preparing for the role pre-chosen for Giegue, the role of Cosmic Destroyer. The space station probably had more warriors rather than actual caretakers, an oversight, so that was why Maria and George were abducted. Maria took care of Giegue and George did his thing… Even after George left I thought Giegue remained attached to Maria and this continued for a while, and it was decided by many others on the ship, it was going on for a little too long.
Resulting in basically a hit against Maria. Giegue ends up flipping out big time over this and makes arrangements to keep Maria’s mind alive since the body didn’t quite make it, this results in Maria’s Magicant and the reason why it would still thrive into 1988, this will be another story for another day. From there, I’d suppose it would become straight forward. Without Maria at his side coddling him and preventing more training as originally intended, Giegue’s studies and training become more and more. In time he becomes the alien destroyer his people wanted and Maria is almost forgotten.
The events of MOTHER and EarthBound occurs, Giegue attempts to get revenge foe George's 'crimes' and deal with the PSI able humans of the world but fails due to his love of Maria. By the time Giegue flees it's discovered Maria's life support machine malfunctioned and Maria passed away, hence the disappearance of her Magicant too. Thus triggering a change in him and in time leads to Giygas. Ten or so years later Ness and his friends battle him leading him to his death. With the death of Giygas the warriors are on the space station, waiting for Giegue’s signal to invade but it will never come. So the space station just floats there in space with no one knowing what to do.
