Our, Mani Mani
From the ashened questions we let burn out, Pheen-X tries to bring these questions back to life, with an inferno of answers. This question, WTF is the Mani Mani statue all about? In all honesty, that thing creeped me out too much to even get a good look at it, so I’m gonna kinda wing this one.
As strange as it may seems, the Mani Manis are actually of our own creation. You see, some say the strangest things are made upon will and mind, instead of hands and strength. These statues were a good example. The statues themselves, were just mere stones in the ground, yet after the Mother 1 issue with Geigue tackling the world in his own style of manipulation and power, the stones were actually able to absorb some of that energy. And thus, they absorbed many thoughts of the many people throughout the years.
Now, this probably sounds very confusing, but sadly its true. Many thoughts of the developing world, were mainly revolving around money, riches, popularity and greed. Hence why the statues were not only gold…but also represented evil themselves. It’s sounds hard to take in…but it’s the only thing my leads can take me.
When they were confronted by Ness however…They had no sense of greed or riches…his goal was to help his team and protect them, as well as helping the world. This was their weakness. And actually were able to be destroyed from such different emotions. My rumors say that if this kindness was sent through the beginning, the statues may have been different. Have you ever wondered why Ness’s Nightmare, was the statue? Have you ever wondered why the people who had the statues in their possession, was either a high leader or a rich looker, well, that’s why. And not only were the Statues a shiny look to the eyes…with all the power given to them from the past minds…they were able to spread those thoughts to all that got near them.
Luckily, things died down after Earthbound…but the golden statues weren’t finished. Turns out, the rocks that became the statues, where aincent rocks known to already withhold high amounts of power. And…these rocks soon evolved into…the 7 needles, and the Magypsies were only told of these stones, unaware many others were still hidden in the ground, only touching the *insert spoiler here* So they didn’t have much of an effect.
And so, in a jeweled colored explosion, another question is left to burn. No one said, all answers were kind. No one said, all answers were grand. And no one said…all answers…were high hearted. So, this is Pheen-X saying, Stay golden.
