We arrive at page 20 to see Ness and Paula. It looks Ness, who has become a bit of a square by this point, is going to enter the fray soon to help our friends. This page has a few nice little details; more than usual, actually, and you might have to put your eyes on the screen to see them all. In the first panel, there is a burger in the garbage. The painting above it is of Saturn Valley. In the fifth panel, that’s a picture of the little league team Ness coaches (we’ll reveal his actual profession much later), and his number of unread emails. The sixth panel shows off his backpack and cap, as well as the little league team’s name, the Threed Zombies. There’s also a picture of Picky, Tracy, and King. The story is starting to get exciting now… |

While Tracy still has a fever, they venture into a dark library. What could possibly go wrong. Sorry about the Paula tease. You’ll have to wait until the next page to see a few familiar faces. |

This page has a lot of humor despite the story slowly getting darker. Now in a desperate search to find a phone to call Ness with, the group splits up (good thing this isn’t a horror story). By the way, that’s Venus on Picky’s cellphone background. |

Kang to the rescue. He shows us his Map of Kings™ and GPS of Kings™, and then teleports down a building because he's cool like that. Also, I Love NY guy still doesn't realize he lives in a place called Fourside. |

The cops arrive on scene and promptly erect barricades to “protect” the inhabitants of Fiveton. With the sky quickly growing darker, Tracy and Picky realize the extent of what might be going on, and know they need additional help. But Tracy’s sentence is abruptly and conveniently interrupted by an intense headache… The panel on the bottom isn’t really important; it’s just a transitional one making the change to the next page a little smoother, and to show the cloudy skies, the campus clock tower, and give a cameo to our cookie-loving fiends (their battling days are over). |
