The cactus wolf is a strange hybrid, built to stalk and guard unfettered and unfatigued in the burning sun of the desert. The waxy cacti keep it hydrated and cool, the canine components keep it well fed. Truly a fearsome beast, it stalks its quarry through the desert - tormenting them until they drop. A memento mori of the bare mortality evident in the desert wastes.

The Farm Zombie's form began to fade and crumble, as its essence leaked from every orifice. "Is this my great reward for my unending toil and torment? Is this the end to my unnatural binding to undeath. How... gracious of the master to steal my life, then steal my freedom. And finally to release me into nothingness. Or am I merely set for a more heinous imprisonment still? Forgive me if I'm not thrilled."

The feminine wiles of this robot series is especially effective against a patriarchal society. Kelly is a more streamlined model than Nancy. She is instead a master of subterfuge. She uses her assets and skills to cloud thoughts and veil the truth. But she delights in reaping the carnage she sows. In this, she is perhaps the cruelest of this "sister series."

The Way We Live |
The first killing bite sends fibrous feelers through the Slitherhen in a capillary assault. Fungus starts to grow from the small creature as the Muttshroom starts to digest it before it even ingests it. It is not cruelty, it is merely natural efficiency. But its meal may soon be forfeit, as a hungry Dog Fish stalks in the distance. The Muttshroom starts to catch, but his, and everyone's satisfaction tonight is always in motion. Always tumbling, never certain.
