Giygas can't die...
Giygas never died. He can't die as long as there is evil in the world. If Ness truly is the messenger of good, love, and stuff, then why did he have an evil side? "You forced me into existence."
Paula has her own nightmare, Jeff has his own nightmare, and Poo MOST OBVIOUSLY has his own nightmare. Giygas is the evil power, correct? That means that all evil is Giygas. This means that ALL evil must be killed before attempting to destroy him. Giygas was Ness' Nightmare and is the evil side of all other people. So the evil sides must be killed like Ness' Nightmare. Unfortunately, Giygas is NEEDED for the human race to continue onward.
There is a Midrash (Jewish story used to explain... stuff) that tells of a village that captured the evil power and put him in a cage. That's right, they captured Giygas. In a cage. But then no children were born. No money was made. Nothing happened. So they let him go. Now you may say that was a bad choice. But Ness would have never have be born.
Giygas must live so that the world can continue. He must be "killed" every 100000 years (brought back down) so that overpopulation won't occur. Or at least that is how I see it.
