My ramblings: SETTING THE RECORD STRAIGHT
First of all I'd like to note that some of the facts, although true, may be a little outdated. I'm giving you the facts about some of the most commonly misconsepted aspects of starmen.net of the past, and the present.
I'd like to direct your attention toward Exhibit A, The communist club. Most people said "It's the new syndicate! Hide! aaa" and junk like that. Let me be the 2894375th to say that it was NOT the "new syndicate." The communist club, when it had its password on it, was just a forum where xodnizel kept old topics from earthbound.net. It also had a thriving 'SIG TEST' topic, but I won't get into that. Right now, the forum is only opened to admins and people with access, so the directives of the forums might have been changed... Or maybe its just closed forever, just waiting for someone to reopen it for something a bit more useful.
Next is the ever famous op channel #tomato. Now don't get me wrong, we did talk about regulars... but only when they were banned. Also, a lot of people were saying how "#tomato probably is a really fun channel." Well, let me set the record straight on this... At times where there were 15 people in the channel nobody talked. It was about as fun as watching paint dry.
That's all for now, if I think of anything else maybe I'll write a "Part Deux."
Oh, and #tomato is opened to everyone now. Come and visit!
