What is Happening to SM.net?
OK, don't get me wrong. I love SM.Net. It's (honestly) my favorite site on the web. I visit it twice a day. But anyway:
The site has seen better days, guys. This Buzz Buzz crisis is out of hand. People leaving. People coming back with new jobs. Infinity-minus-one mew members. Aye-yi-yi!
The updates are getting sparser, too. Even the opressive (no offense) links updates are getting down to only 1-2 times a week! The Trivias, my personal favorite part except maybe the forums, have been updated ONCE in a month, much longer for the great Plo. We haven't had a new poll since, um, I dunno... The contests are slowly but surely dying, and the last time that we saw a new Comic, piece of Fanart, etc. was a looooooong time ago. The only updates we see these days are reidman telling us about the meetings, occasionally some links and/or music, and that's really it! The Forums are the only things that are really thriving, which is good, I see at least 2 new members every single day, which I love. But one feature, no matter how important, out of the great site we have thriving and the others struggling shows us some saaaaaad times, folks.
Look, I said it once, and I'll say it again. I love SM.Net. I think it is the best site out there... ANYWHERE... and not only if you love EB. I even converted my video-hating sister to like EB (at least halfway) using SM.Net. We've somehow fallen behind and we WILL get out. But we need to realize it. Sorry if this sounded derogatory through and through, but I had to say it. Someone did, and I've wanted to for a long time. Let's change this.
