Why Sanctuaries?
I wish to address a serious concern of mine- that the sanctuaries are a ploy by Giygas to delay Ness's victory! Allow me to explain.
The sanctuaries are not really needed, as some (such as Lilliput Steps and Milky well) can be skipped, and the other ones could have been skipped, if the crew had taken the time to go past them.
The most obvious conflict with this is Giant Step. You "have" to go through that to be able to get out of Onett, but (and don't tell me, "blah blah blah can't walk in trees, blah blah blah, because both you and I know that you can walk in a forest) Ness just could've gone through the trees! In closing, I will say one thing-
Giygas was obviously very skilled at placing red herrings, and Ness was obviously very UN-skilled at seeing through them. Good night and god bless.
