PokeBound RPG: Legend of the 150 Little Thingies
After reading the emails I got from my last article, I got to thinking. (Dr. Frink’s Voice: again with the cheese and the hey, hey!) Why do Pokémon and EarthBound fit so well together better than vaseline on toast??? Well, here are some of the things I noticed:
1) They’re both RPGs.
2) They’re both quite different from anything else on the market.
3) They’re both 'quirky', and strangly addictive....
Anywho, I started to wonder if any other characters that Nintendo had access to would fit good into a game with say, Ness, and oh.... Pikachu. Anyone remember Super Mario RPG?¿? GENO and MALLOW! Think of it, Hippie attacks, Ness hits it with his Base-Ball bat, Pikachu does Thunder Shock, Geno does Geno Boost on Ness, and Mallow does Snowy. OK, this may be a stretch, it does to good to be true, and it probably is, but hey stranger things have happened (Roseanne got a SECOND TV show for cryin out loud!)
