The Science of Earthbound
You’re probably asking yourself right now “Science of Earthbound?” and “Who is this guy?” and “I wonder if there's any leftover chicken in the fridge?” Also this is my first article, so give me a break if I screw up. Well I can answer two of these questions. Here’s the first. You have most likely wondered why Ness, Paula, and Poo can do PSI (a.k.a. PK) powers. Well most people would say they could do that because they are the chosen ones. I would not say that. Ness and co. can use PSI because their brains operate at a higher frequency than normal people do. This is very hard to explain and very hard to understand. When your brain works (for better use of a word) the cells in your brain send the information to your nerves and whatnot. In Ness’s brain the cells are charged differently than ours and the atoms specially charged. So, If Ness does PSI Power Alpha an Atom from his brain shoots out of his forehead (the atom exits the brain so fast you can’t even feel it) and if Ness concentrates hard enough he can make the atom explode in a certain fashion. If Ness does PSI hypnosis an atom exits Ness’s forehead and enters the enemy’s forehead and does the appropriate attack. Well, next question “Who is this guy?” Well I’m Brick Road, but I have the ability to get in and out of the Dungeon man. Pretty cool huh?
